Dictionary Drive!
My bookstore is holding a dictionary drive from now until the end of January 2009. We are collecting dictionaries for The Rowan Correctional Center. There are over two hundred inmates at this prison camp, and there's a shortage of dictionaries. There are over 2 million people in prison in our country. More than 80% of them will eventually be released. Education helps reduce the likelihood of re-incarceration. If you'd like to donate a dictionary, please do! Send it here:

All the best for the dictionary drive…I too will scout around for my dictionaries…although I must admit for the last decade or so, I’ve used on-line dictionaries, and my non-virtual, paper dictionaries are out of date and ‘well-worn’
And read, but I will see what I can do
